Open Door Ministries hosted the annual TRYAD (To Reconcile You Able Bodied & Disabled) Retreat recently at Rocky Mountain Village Easter Seals.  During the free time one of the female members, who is in a wheelchair, wanted to pet one of the horses.  When asked if she wanted to ride it, she couldn’t believe it was possible for her to do so.  She was told they could make it happen and during the ride she cried tears of joy for the opportunity to ride a horse again after many years.  She kept saying how blessed she was.  Another TRYAD member said that he was not sure he wanted to go to the retreat at first, but he was glad that he did.  He said whenever he is around the TRYAD group it feels like he is with family.  He explained that TRYAD is a really amazing group of people and he is thankful to be able to a part of the group – he feels like he belongs.

Cleaning for a Reason: If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning – once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.  All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment.  Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code arrange for the service.  This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women.  It’s our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there who care.  Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along.  Visit their web site at www.cleaningforareason.org.
